I had a delightful stay at Voco Guangzhou Shifu By Ihg, where the spacious room was well-equipped and the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The prime location near the pedestrian street made exploring local attractions easy and enjoyable.

The hotel features spacious rooms with good air conditioning and a wide range of international TV channels, making it a comfortable base during your stay. Enjoyable quiet nights amidst the bustling location provide a nice contrast to the busy outside world.

The property appears dated, especially the bathrooms, which could use a refresh. While the bustling area offers numerous dining options nearby, some local dim sum spots fell short of expectations and the hotel’s Wi-Fi speed was notably sluggish.

I particularly appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff, especially Mr Wyman Lee, who went out of his way to assist with our queries and transportation needs. Overall, my stay here was quite enjoyable, and I appreciated the various dining options in the vicinity.

Spacious room with great amenities like air conditioning, flat-screen TV, minibar, and a private bathroom. Loved the outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. Hotel provides free bottled water daily and has steam room for relaxation. Staff was helpful and accommodating throughout our 5-night stay.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially with the nightly double boiled soup served by the friendly staff and the quick early check-in after a local breakfast. The hotel had a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a relaxing steam room to unwind in after a long day. However, the Wi-Fi could have been faster, but it didn’t spoil my experience overall. 😊

Spacious room, modern bathroom, with a great buffet breakfast featuring a perfect combination of eastern and western options, and located just a short 0.2 km from Cultural Park, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.
